Elections

Alpine and Breckenridge Mountain Metropolitan Districts hold regular Director elections in accordance with Colorado State statute. The Board of Directors for Breckenridge Metropolitan Metro Subdistrict A are the same as the parent district so the Subdistrict does not hold director elections.

The next regular District election for Directors will be held May 2027.  

To be eligible to run for a Board seat, a person must be an eligible elector of the District which is defined as

  1. Being a registered voter in the State of Colorado and 
  2. Satisfy one of the following:
    • a) a resident of the District, OR
    • b) The owner (or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property held in a real person's name situated in the District ,OR 
    • c) A person obliged to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property.

Breckenridge Mountain Metropolitan District Election 

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION AND CERTIFIED STATEMENT OF RESULTS

§1-13.5-513(6), 32-1-104, 1-11-103(3) C.R.S.

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Breckenridge Mountain Metropolitan District, Summit County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 6, 2025 is hereby canceled pursuant to section 1-13.5-513(6) C.R.S.         

The following candidates are hereby declared elected:

Dustin Stokes  4-year term     until May 2029

VACANT        4-year term     until May 2029

VACANT        4-year term     until May 2029

Ryan Taylor    2-year term     until May 2027

Breckenridge Mountain Metro District Subdistrict A Election 

Results of Independent Mail Ballot Election for Breckenridge Mountain Metropolitan District, Subdistrict A

Tuesday, May 3, 2022 

An independent mail ballot election was held by Breckenridge Mountain Metropolitan District, Subdistrict A, in the Town of Breckenridge, County of Summit, State of Colorado (the “District”) on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. 

The purpose of the election was to submit to the eligible electors of the District certain ballot issues and ballot questions.  The results of the election are:
